JOHN Barton remains confident that Adam Wilde will sign for Worcester City despite failing to conclude talks last night.
Negotiations with the Cambridge City winger will continue later this week but the St George's Lane manager is hopeful the 23-year-old will be signed in time for Saturday's home clash with Ilkeston Town.
"Talks went well, but there are still matters to iron out and decisions to be made. But I am confident that we will land our man and he will make his debut on Saturday," said Barton.
City's home match with Crawley Town on November 16 has been rearranged for Monday, December 9, with the Sussex side involved in FA Cup action against Tiverton.
