Worcestershire top the table in division three of the Inter Counties Darts League after a good 24-12 victory against Avon.

The Women's B team won 4-2.

Rachel Leeming, Chris Glover, Claire Hill and Janet Hill, who hit a 17.03 average took the match award for the second time.

The Men's B team of Darren Willetts, Matt Sheehan, Tim Green, Nigel Vernall, Simon Webb, Steve Webb and Kevin James, Paul Lewis and man of the match Chris Jennings won 9-3.

Chris threw a brilliant game storming to a 3-0 win in 15/15 and 19 darts scoring 180, 140 and seven 100's for a 30.67 average.

The Women's A won 5-1 with wins from Tracey Bishop, Jackie Crew, Mandy Morgan Jackie Jenkins and Beaty Powell who took the match award with a 22.43 average.

First on for the Men's A Mark Jones hit two 180's in a 3-0 win that ensured the county's win.

Kevin Harris, Nick Fullwell, Graham Perry, and another win for Chris Jennings wrapped up matters with Terry Jenkins taking the match award, two in a row, for a 3-0 win in 18/15 and 14 darts, scoring three 140's, 120, and four 100's for an average of 31.98.

Terry and Jackie Jenkins won the divisional averages for their wins last month, a feat Terry could repeat this month.

Terry Jenkins is also Worcestershire representative in the Embassy playoffs with a good chance of getting through to the televised finals.
