AN enchanting ballet telling the tale of a peasant girl who dies from a broken heart is being staged at the Palace Theatre this week.
Ballet Russe presents Giselle at the Alcester Street theatre on Saturday, November 2, with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Marius Petipa.
Ballet Russe is made up of principal dancers trained in the Russian classical style who have all graduated from the Kirov or Bolshoi Ballet academies and are former dancers with famous Russian ballet companies.
The production begins at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12.50 or £11.50 (with Reddicard) from the Tourist Information Centre, Alcester Street, or on 65203.
