DROITWICH Spa sent Fairfield Villa crashing out of the Worcestershire Junior Cup with a 2-1 victory last Saturday.
Ben Blaber, son of manager Kevin, and skipper Nick West got the all-important goals for Spa.
Boss Blaber was pleased with the result against a side one league higher in Midland Combination division one.
He said: "I thought we were the better team and deserved it. We more than held our own."
Villa had the greater possession early on but created very little by way of a threat and it was the hosts who went the closest on two occasions.
Villa took control of the game after the break, creating several good chances but fine goalkeeping from John Slade kept them out.
Droitwich took the lead on 60 minutes when a misplaced header from Phil Upton failed to reach goalkeeper Adie Summers and Ben Blaber nipped in to score.
Villa tried hard to get the equaliser but poor finishing let them down and they paid for the price seven minute from time when West scored from close range following a right wing corner.
Villa pulled a goal back in the final seconds through Richard Whitlock following a goal mouth scramble.
