PEOPLE are being asked to donate old tools and other items to help bring people in developing countries out of poverty and lead independent lives.
National charity Workaid refurbishes the items and sends them overseas, where they are used in vocational training and other projects.
Items donated must be in good condition.
These can be sewing and knitting machines, dressmaking and leatherwork accessories, standard-size typewriters, and carpentry, mechanical, vehicle maintenance and horticultural tools.
They can be taken to St Stephen's Church on Friday before collection on Saturday.
