I JUST felt the need to write following my experience this morning.
While waiting for my car to complete its MOT test, I had an hour to kill in Redditch town centre.
It was a blustery, rainy morning and I had my three-month-old daughter in her pushchair.
Not surprisingly, she got very miserable, very quickly.
I needed to find somewhere warm and quiet in order to breast feed my child.
I could think of nowhere to go in the centre until, approaching Church Green, I spotted the entrance to St Stephen's Church.
Ah, a nice cup of tea, I thought.
After speaking to the very nice lady with the kettles it was decided I should feed my daughter in the calm, private and peaceful church.
She even brought my cup of tea to me.
I would like to say a big thank you to the lady for her kindness and understanding and how much I (and my daughter) appreciated her assistance.
The tea was delicious as well. The cakes looked very tempting too but I managed to resist this time, although I did have a second cuppa!
Thanks again.
