REDDITCH Ladies picked up their first point of the season with a 2-2 draw at relegation rivals Bournville at the weekend.
The two Worcestershire representatives are propping up the Midlands Region Hockey Women's League Conference with the Bromsgrove Road side bottom, two points behind their county rivals.
Saturday's goals were Redditch's second and third this season and Claire Steadman's side have a golden opportunity to claw back the deficit at the weekend when they visit third from bottom Bedford while Bournville have a daunting trip to leaders Loughborough.
Sue Davenport and Anna Stafford were on target at the weekend but Davenport is away for Saturday's relegation battle (bully-off 1pm).
