AT the November 12 meeting, members were taken on a gentle meander through the beautiful counties of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
Along with her own colourful, uplifting slides taken through various seasons, Irene, with the help of her sister Ann, showed scenes of the River Thames and places of particular interest, giving ideas of where to visit.
Her slides of colourful azaleas and rhododendrons at the Punch Bowl, the Queen Mother's favourite place in Windsor Great Park, were exceptionally exhilarating.
The vote of thanks was given by Brenda Williams. Sue Wright won the raffle.
The next meeting is on November 26 at the Greig Hall when there will be an unusual flower arranging demonstration and raffle by Mark Garvie.
