BROMSGROVE Rovers are to have talks with their local council over a possible move from their Victoria Ground headquarters where they have been based since 1910.
The club have long been linked with a move from their Birmingham Road headquarters and are ready to discuss the situation with local authority chiefs.
Rovers chairman Tom Herbert has written to Bromsgrove District Council following reports that the club could be re-located to land at Ashborough's Fruit Farm in Old Butt Lane.
He said: "The future of Bromsgrove Rovers is safe for the next seven years as the club is now is possession of a new seven-year lease.
"Having said that, we are concerned by the rumours and have written to the council for clarification as regards to the possibility of Bromsgrove Rovers moving, which may or may not be of advantage to Bromsgrove Rovers."
Meanwhile, Bromsgrove have signed Lebanese international Ihab Monir Halimi.
The 25-year-old made his international debut at the age of 21 and played against World Cup semi-finalists Turkey.
