WORCESTERSHIRE artists are combining their love of painting with poetry, by depicting their favourite verses on canvas.
Members of Malvern Art Club picked a range of works penned by the Ledbury Writers' Circle and interpreted them into artwork.
The novel idea, which is part of the group's second poetry and painting competition, resulted in a fine display of work exhibited at Malvern Theatres.
The competition was opened by the Mayor of Malvern, Frances Victory, who was also the judge for the various prizes on offer.
