MARK Duckworth, son of Worcester Rugby Club benefactor Cecil, celebrated his birthday by presenting Acorns charity with a cheque for £950.
Mark asked those who attended his 40th birthday celebration at the rugby club, to donate money to the children's hospice trust fund instead of giving him presents.
"The fact that he thought of other people on his birthday is brilliant," said Mike Cartledge, the charity's project manager.
"The whole family is tremendously supportive and Mark's generosity has been fantastic."
Previously, he donated £500 after overcoming disability to win a Millennium x-training competition.
