EXPRESS travelled to Worcester to take on Kays, in what is generally a tough fixture, on a superb playing surface for this Division Two encounter.

KAYS 1, EXPRESS FC 7

Right from the whistle though it was Express who were on top with Jamie Roberts prominent.

With just a minute gone Roberts was upended in the box and put away the resulting penalty before going on to score a hat-trick in the first 20 minutes.

Number four came on the half hour with a screaming 30 yarder into the top corner before Kays managed to scramble a goal in the dying seconds before half time to make it 4-1 at the break.

The second half carried on much the same as the first as Express overran the home side with flowing football and Jamie Roberts, ably supported up front by Matt Clifford, took three more good finishes to make it seven for the day, 11 in the last two games and 21 goals to date this season.

No game this Sunday for Express but away to Cutnall Green on January 5.
