LAST Sunday, the Worcestershire Folk Players Club held their annual Wassail at the Avoncroft Arts Centre in Bromsgrove, with more than 100 people attending, including 30 musicians drawn from around the West Midlands.
Bill Kinsman led the singing and between the carols the wassailers were entertained with songs and traditional music for flute and harp. In the interval, drinks and hot mince pies were served by members of the Avoncroft Folk Dance Club and a collection of more than £230 was given in aid of The Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
