A MAN and a woman from Bromsgrove have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a three-year old boy.
Toddler Christian Blewitt was in the care of Sandwell Social Services when he was admitted to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley on December 8.
He was later transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital and died on December 12. A post mortem was carried out on December 13 which showned Christian died as a result of head injuries.
The police are also awaiting the results of toxicology and histology tests.
Detectives at Redditch police station are questioning the couple. The arrests were made on Thursday, December 19.
