KIDDERMINSTER Harriers hope a victory at Bury tomorrow will lift them into the Nationwide League Division Three play-off zone (3pm).

Harriers are just a point away from a top seven slot after successive wins over Wrexham and Leyton Orient.

Aggborough boss Ian Britton, however, expects a tough test at Gigg Lane.

He said: "They are all difficult. The results on Boxing Day went for us and I'll be happy enough getting three points any day of the week."

Harriers have returned to winning ways with a vengeance after going through a shaky spell recently in which they went four games without a league victory.

Britton, however, is not totally convinced his troops have turned the corner, saying: "You never know with this team do you?

"We are up and down and blow hot and cold all the time. When you have got so many young kids in the team that's what happens."

Britton is satisfied with his side's current position of tenth in the table, particularly as they have a game in hand over most of the clubs above them.

He said: "If we only lose a quarter of our remaining games then Kidderminster Harriers will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season."

Harriers have injury doubts over midfielders Sean Parrish (hamstring), John Melligan (ankle) and Dean Bennett (shin) while front-runner Drewe Broughton is definitely ruled out. He starts a four-match suspension following his recent sending off against York City.

Bury, whose player-manager is former Worcester City striker Andy Preece, are currently in fifth place but suffered a blow to their promotion hopes on Boxing Day when they slumped to a 4-1 defeat at Shrewsbury Town.

Meanwhile, Harriers' giant defender Abdou Sall is to stay on loan at Oxford United for a further month.

He has yet to start a game for the U's but their manager Ian Atkins has indicated he would like more time to assess the 22-year-old's ability.

Harriers have now re-arranged their match against Oxford which was postponed last month because of a waterlogged pitch.

It will take place at Aggborough on Tuesday, January 28 (7.45pm).

FORMCAST: Harriers to share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
