KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' young guns waltzed through to the second round of the Worcestershire FA Youth Cup with a 5-1 thrashing of Cradley Town last night.
It was a relief for their boss John Deakin, the former first-team midfielder, whose charges have failed to win since September 18.
Harriers were given a scare when the visitors took the lead on 34 minutes at Aggborough through Wayne Lacey.
But they hit back to lead 3-1 by half-time through goals from Peter Carter, Michael Xiourouppa and Richard Langford.
Xiourouppa and Ross Braiden added further goals on 59 and 83 minutes.
