ON-LOAN defender Mark Clyde is expected to return for Saturday's crunch game with Hull City but then cut short his initial loan spell.

Clyde's temporary move does not end until after the Macclesfield game on Saturday, October 12, yet he has been called up for Northern Ireland U-21s the evening before.

But the Wolverhampton Wanderers player will give Harriers a boost for the return of Jan Molby to Aggborough after recovering from a stomach bug.

Clyde will then captain his country against Spain in the European Championship qualifiers later next week.

Harriers boss Ian Britton is striving to extend the loan deals of Clyde and his Wolves colleague John Melligan who have both settled in impressively.
