TIM Langford must again juggle his Stourport Swifts side as they head to rock-bottom Swindon Supermarine in the Dr Martens Western Division on Saturday.

Wide midfielder Richie Gardner (hamstring) will miss the game along with unavailable assistant boss Jan Mulders and suspended defender Asa Charlton.

But key man Ian Cottrill is due to return from injury and veteran defender Nigel Laker will step in.

Langford, who himself must have an X-ray on a suspected cracked rib, has boosted his squad though.

Former Halesowen Town players Andy Bradley and Richard Crisp, both defenders or midfielders, will provide cover.

Neither have played much if at all this season but they have fine pedigrees with Crisp at Aston Villa and Telford United.

Langford said: "They will come training and it may be a foot in the door for next season."

Ross Knight played a comeback game for Alvechurch last weekend and may be ready to return.

Swifts gained revenge on Gloucester with Saturday's 2-1 victory which boosted confidence again.

Langford declared: "That was a big win after two defeats on the trot. Swindon have obviously got more to play for than us so I imagine it will be a right old scrap.

"They are fighting for their lives and it will be a case of who wants it most."

Centre-back Mulders and Charlton both return for the Bank Holiday Monday home game with mid-table Sutton Coldfield (7.45pm).
