RIVALS Bromsgrove Rovers and Stourport Swifts go head-to-head at the Victoria Ground tonight (7.45pm) with sharply contrasting fortunes.

Table-topping Rovers have blasted 19 goals in their last four home games, while Swifts are languishing at the bottom of the Dr Martens Western Division without a win to their name.

However, former Swifts favourite Gary Hackett, now joint manager of Rovers, says the form book will count for nothing.

"It's a local derby, all the players know each other and it will be a great leveller and I think you can throw the form book out of the window," he said.

"I'm surprised they are down there because they had a good season last year in their first appearance in the league. They've had a poor start but have got some good, experienced players.

"I know the manager Tim Langford and assistant manager Jan Mulders well and I hope they can get out of trouble but only after we've kept them at the bottom first."

Rovers will be without loan player Ross Collins who has returned to Halesowen but have Stewart Brighton back from suspension and Matt Southwick available.

Swifts go into the match on the back of a dispiriting 3-0 defeat at Rugby United in which keeper Rob Clarke was sent off.
