ONE of Worcester's premier law firms has appointed a new senior partner and a new associate.

Harrison Clark Solicitors, in Deansway, Worcester, will soon be celebrating its 100th year. It announced the major appointments on December 1.

Jonathan Brew is the new senior partner in the firm.

Andrew Caldicott, the firm's managing partner, said the new appointment came on top of the opening of the firm's new office in Birmingham.

"These changes capped another exciting year for the firm," he said.

Mr Brew said he was looking forward to his new role, which will involve raising the profile of the firm even further, following the success of David Harrison in the role, who remains in the firm as a consultant.

Also from December 1, Sophie Hughes was made associate in the firm's family law department.

Ms Hughes, who established her professional career in London, has been with the firm for more than two years.

"Her appointment is further evidence of the increasing influence of the firm's family law department in Worcester and the West Midlands," added Mr Caldicott.
