THE magical music of Mozart, Brahms and Schumann will come alive in Droitwich Spa at a concert this month.

Droitwich Concert Club is hosting the Kegelstatt Trio, who will play a variety of classical favourites on Saturday January 11.

Fiona Cross will play the clarinet with Judith Busbridge on viola, Nigel Clayton on piano and Vanessa Williams-mezzo soprano. They take their name from the first piece of music to be written for the clarinet, piano and viola - Mozart's trio in E flat-K.498.

Since forming in 1982 the group has performed on numerous occasions on Channel Four and Sky Television as well as BBC Radio Three.

The show will take place in the Methodist Church in Worcester Road starting at 7.30pm.

All concerts are open to non-members and tickets are available on the door on the night.
