HOCKEY: Stourport's thirds, fourths, fifths and sixths are all well placed in their respective title chases at the mid-season break.
Despite the first team struggling on the field, the club as a whole have had a positive season.
Results have been good across all levels and Stourport can boast true strength in depth.
The firsts have had their positives too though with Pakistan international Imran Yousaf scoring plenty of goals already.
In Dan Packwood, 17, and Andy Pocknell, they also have home-grown talent impressing.
Stourport are reaping the rewards of the efforts put in by Pete and Pat Terry along with the team of coaches and helpers.
They have developed the best youth hockey set-up in the Midlands and numerous players are now developing in the senior teams.
Coaching from England captain Craig Parnham is also a boost for the club.
Fixtures, Saturday, Ladies: Stourport 2nds v Bromsgrove (12.30pm), 3rds v Cannock 4ths (2pm).
