THE Masters Lake at Shatterford Lakes Fishery opened on Boxing Day after being stocked with rainbow trout weighing from 3lb to 22lb and a few brown trout to 10lb.
The best flies have proved to be both green or orange cats whisker but one angler used a home-made fly.
He caught four trout to 6.25lb, while another favoured a black buzzer and reeled in two to 7.75lb.
A goldhead daddy was also used and this achieved a 7.5lb fish.
On the Wyre Dell, a damsel nymph caught four trout to 2lb but for the last two weeks the best flies have been cat's whisker and viva.
On the catch and kill Andy Capp lake, viva, imitation pellet and goldheads have been the best flies.
A trio of anglers from Northfield chose maggots and each caught eight trout to 1.5lb.
On the coarse scene, sweetcorn was used by one angler to catch a 16lb 4oz carp from the Gainsborough Lake.
