AT the Christmas break in the Kidderminster Women's County Football League, newly-formed Evesham United Ladies are lying in the middle of the table.
Despite putting out a very young side, the players have acquitted themselves well against older and more experienced opponents.
Although both their league wins to date have come against the bottom two teams, they have shown, in their last two games against Worcester City and Malvern how they have improved, by dominating long periods of both games but unfortunately not quite being able to maintain their form for the full 90 minutes.
They can look forward to the new year resumption with confidence and hope to make further progress as they gain more experience in competitive fixtures.
Any ladies aged 14 and over interested in joining the club can contact the club on 01386 442303 or attend training sessions on Wednesday evenings at7pm.
The next game is at home to Redditch United Women on Sunday, January 12 (2pm).
