STRATFORD Alliance high-flyers FISSC and Badsey United met for the second time in three weeks and the outcome was the same in their Premier Cup preliminary round match.
A goal from Pace ensured FISSC's place in the next round.
Only one Journal Premier Division match was played, and Badsey Rangers kept their hopes alive with a 2-1 win at Railway with goals from Gavin and Dave Williams. Stuart Hall replied for Railway.
It was a family affair when Campden Town met their reserve side in the RM Smith Cup preliminary round and a hat-trick from Hands saved the Journal Division title-chasers' blushes as they scraped through 3-2.
