MARK Clifton's headed first half goal gave Bromsgrove Rovers a 1-0 victory over Racing Club Warwick.
Rovers dominated the game for large spells at the Victoria Ground on Saturday, December 21, and should have won by more.
Following Matt Lowe's second-minute save from Paul Rostrom's shot, it was as good as one-way traffic.
Steve Frost was denied when his bullet header was parried onto the crossbar by Gary Hateley.
Five minutes before half time, Paul Danks' close range effort was saved well but Clifton was on hand to head home from three yards.
A largely poor second half saw Frazer McHugh and Richard Burgess both have shots saved within a matter of seconds but for all their possession, Rovers created little else.
Racing Club failed to trouble Lowe's goal for the entire second half.
