DROITWICH Spa A moved one step closer to defending the Martley Cup after booking their place in the semi-finals with a penalty shoot-out victory at Powick.
Spa, who won last year's competition at Worcester City FC, took an early lead through Ben Pheasent's first goal of the season on Saturday, December 21.
Powick equalised with 20 minutes remaining to take the game into extra time.
Steven Walsh had his penalty saved for the visitors in the shoot-out but Spa still made it through the competition's last four.
Ben Pheasent was man of the match.
