THE Hangover Cup fished on Sunday saw David Jones win with a clear head, catching small carp to pole tactics.
With persistent rain all through the match members found sport difficult but no dry nets were recorded.

On Sunday a Severn Shield match is planned at Upton-on-Severn. Draw in car park on right of the river bridge at 8am. Members should check at local tackle shops, should the river be out of order, for an alternative venue.
THE Fishery continues to provide excellent sport and Barry Stayte made full use of the facility to win the Christmas Open.

Evesham and District Angling Association
Members and delegates are reminded that the association's meeting is to take place at Bengeworth Sports club on Wednesday January 15, at 8 p.m. Nominations for office and all notice of motions must be with the secretary by January 18 at the latest, nominations will not be accepted after this date.
