Evesham and District Table Tennis League
BENGEWORTH Tigers go into the New Year as leaders of Division One but Wyre Livewyres, still unbeaten, are only two points behind in second place and have two games in hand.
Craig Norledge beat Paul Bruner and Ernie Smith to help Bengeworth Blue to a 6-4 victory at Kington Bulldogs and move them up to fourth place.
In Division Two the top five sides are separated by just two points. Littleton Loopers, Wyre Netting and Littleton Supermarine all have 29 points but Wyre Barbedwyre moved into fourth place a point behind following an 8-2 victory in a re-arranged match with Bengeworth Lions and still have a game in hand.
Bengeworth Sapphires are two points off the leaders in fifth place also with a game in hand.
