OLDER people are being offered the opportunity to learn a new skill for the New Year and perhaps communicate with their grandchildren the hi-tech way.
Age Concern Herefordshire and Worcestershire is offering 45-minute taster sessions in basic computer skills, internet and email, free of charge.
These taster sessions are on a one-to-one basis and, after being introduced to the basic skills, students can enrol on a free basic skills computer and coffee course, run in conjunction with Worcester College of Technology.
Anyone who would like a taster session should ring Angie Harris on Worcester 726652 for full details.
Tasters are being offered in Worcester, Evesham and Upton-upon-Severn.
