PLANS to create a new vehicle access to a house on Astwood Road in Worcester have been recommended for refusal.
Planning officers believe it would be dangerous to allow the proposals to go ahead because cars would have to reverse on to or off the site on to a main road.
But last year the planning committee went against the officers' recommendation and allowed two similar applications for properties on Astwood Road to go ahead.
The council's transportation partnership manager has objected to the new proposals on the grounds that there is inadequate space to provide parking and turning areas.
Members of the planning committee will discuss the planning application at their next meeting on Thursday, January 9.
