WORCESTER Juniors suffered their first loss since October 13 when they were defeated by Kempsey United Reserves in the Soccer Site Malvern Football League on Sunday.

Kempsey United Reserves reversed their fortunes having gone down to Worcester Juniors 3-2 on the November 17. It was Ben Hodgkins however who started the scoring for Worcester Juniors as they opened up a one goal advantage before Stuart Stanton equalised for the home team before the interval to go in at the break 1-1.

In the second period Kempsey's Steven Frear bagged an impressive hat-trick as they took control of the tie with Alex Freeman slotting in Kempsey's fifth goal to give them an unassailable lead. James Hodgkins pulled one goal back for Worcester Juniors who had to concede a very credible unbeaten run in all competitions dating back over two months.

Dynamo Ledbury defeated Brewery 4-1 in the local derby taking place at Ledbury Town on Sunday. Although Gavin Locke scored the opening goal for Brewery it was Dan Lucas and a hat-trick from Adam Thomas which gave Dynamo Ledbury maximum points to move them above their rivals in the league table and into 11th spot.

Madresfield's position in the league improved also having overcome West Midlands to move above Worcester Juniors and into the mid-table position. Wayne Cadmore was the pick of the goalscorers with a brace and a further four goals were shared between Adam Morse, Jim Pearcy, Gordon Mansell and Graham Jones as Madresfield's first season in the league continues with promise.

Club AC 30 lost their first cup match of the season when they bowed out of the Worcestershire FA Sunday Minor Cup going down by the odd goal in three, settled in the first 45 minutes of the game they couldn't pull back the defecit in the second 45 minutes with Jonathon Creaber the only scorer for Club AC 30.

Fromes Hill and Bull Allstars will compete for a place in the last four of the Sunday Senior Cup this coming weekend as a tie versus Worcester Juniors will await the victors.

In league competition Club AC 30 travel the short distance to Worcester Juniors and Morgan Aero 8 await the visit of Kempsey United Reserves in a full fixture schedule this Sunday.
