MALVERN Hills Indoor Bowls club, situated at Manor Park in Albert Road North, is planning to start a section for visually handicapped people.
The first session is booked for Sunday, January 19. In the morning, tutors from the English National Association of Visually Handicapped Bowlers will instruct the volunteer helpers and the afternoon will be open to all visually handicapped men and women, both bowlers and those who wish to try the game.
This afternoon session will start at 2pm and will cost £1 per person. Bowls will be available and bowls shoes or thick socks must be worn. All ages will be welcome.
