A Malvern couple got the shock of their lives when a car smashed though their garden wall.
The accident took place at 6.15pm on Friday, December 21. The 21-year-old male driver is believed to have been uninjured.
The Ford Fiesta was left hanging in mid-air, with its front end protruding through the wall at the home of Pat and Anthony Hemming in Malus Close.
"I was in the kitchen and my husband was in the garage opposite," said Mrs Hemming. "He looked out to see the car looking back at him!"
The wall later collapsed, crushing furniture, plants, paving slabs and knocking down a tree. The cost of repairing the wall was estimated at £3,000.
