A total of £7,674 has been raised so far towards the refurbishment of Lansdowne Methodist Church in Malvern.
The money has come from donations and fundraising activities over the past year.
Members of the church's refurbishment fund committee would like to thank everyone who has helped.
The next fundraising event will be a 'Nicht wi' Burns' on Monday, March 25, at 7.30pm. Church minister Rev Catherine Campbell Hyde said the event promised to be "light-hearted entertainment with a Scottish theme". Tickets are £5, available in advance from the Lyttelton Well, which will also benefit from funds raised.
The total needed to refurbish and enlarge the church vestibule is not yet known. However, Rev Campbell Hyde said architects were working on plans which should provide the answer.
