POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was robbed in Malvern.
Two men knocked the pensioner to the ground and snatched her handbag before running off.
The woman injured her wrist in the incident. Her bag contained a black leather purse with £20 cash inside.
The attack took place on Priory Road at around 12.20pm yesterday and the offenders ran off in the direction of Wood Shears Road.
Officers made an extensive search of the area but were unable to find the men.
They are both described as 18 years old. One was wearing a grey woolly hat and the other a blue baseball cap.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery, or thinks they saw two people matching the description in the area yesterday lunchtime, should contact police on 08457 444888, quoting c/656331.
