AFTER visiting the Swan Theatre to see my son in a production of Pinnochio, I feel the need to say how absolutely disgusting it is that this lovely theatre of ours is to be closed down in February.
The Pinnochio production was one of the best I have seen at the theatre.
The front row was filled with disabled children.
Will they soon have to be transported to theatres miles away from their homes?
I'm appaled by the decision to close the theatre and its youth groups - and all for a sum of money that's a drop in the ocean to a city council that wastes so much on car parks and schemes only of benefit to people who live outside the city.
