STAFF at a Worcester recruitment agency have raised £700 for charity by not sending Christmas cards to their clients.
Backup Staff, based in Castle Street, donated the money to the Prince's Trust, a charity that helps young people set up their own businesses.
Joe Powell, managing director, said he was proud of his company's charity effort.
"At this time of year, it is often easy to forget those less fortunate than ourselves," he said.
"With the Christmas card donation it is a little way in which we can give back to the community.
"I am very proud to be part of an organisation that involves itself with charity in this way."
Established in 1990, Backup has branches in Worcester, Evesham, Kidderminster, Redditch and Dudley, in Worcestershire, as well as in Coventry and Gloucester.
The group deals in industrial, office, driving and catering staff placements.
