WORK is continuing apace on Malvern Theatre Players' project to create a studio theatre at the group's headquarters in Grange Road.
Construction of an extension on the front of the building is well underway and should be finished in the next few weeks.
The extension will house a foyer and toilet facilities.
The existing building, currently used as a workshop and store for props, sets and costumes, will become an 80-seat theatre, to be used for concerts, drama and youth work.
Company manager Chris Bassett said the work is on schedule to be completed in the summer.
Fundraising is continuing, with the players contacting various grant-awarding bodies.
