Pupils at a city school hope to have the audience dancing in the aisles when they put on their annual stage production.
The pupils at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Roman Catholic school will be starring in the classic western musical Seven Brothers and Seven Brides.
Mark Nye, a teacher at the school, said they chose the musical because they wanted to do something that was well known.
"It was chosen because we were looking for a musical that people could sing along to," said Mr Nye.
He added the theme of the play would mean that more students could get involved.
The opening night is tonight, at 7.30pm, with two more shows on March 6 and 7. Tickets cost £4 for adults and £3 for children and OAPs and are available from the school on 01905 352615.
