Troublesome target man Drewe Broughton is restored to the Kidderminster Harriers line-up following their poor 2-1 home defeat by Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Broughton replaces Andy Bishop to face Southend whose away record in Division Three reads 10 defeats from 17 games.
Harriers boss Ian Britton otherwise makes no changes in his efforts to get the club's play-off bid back on track following two straight defeats.
Wes Morgan, signed on loan from Notts Forest, will make his second appearance in central defence but whether Britton will continue with the 4-4-2 formation deployed against Scunthorpe is not yet known.
Rob Newman's Southend, who lost 2-1 at relegation-threatened Macclesfield over the weekend, welcome back 11-goal top scorer Tes Bramble who has missed four games through suspension and an eye infection.
Left-back Damon Searle also returns to the visitors' line-up after a one-game ban.
The Essex side have lost their last two matches at Aggborough since Harriers elevation to the Football League.
