ADAM Wilde has edged clear in the race for the Ray Mercer Trophy.
The Worcester City winger, recently capped by England's National Game team in Belgium, has been an impressive performer since his arrival at St George's Lane in November.
After 18 games with the club Wilde is averaging 7.38 which puts him just ahead of Hereford United playmaker Paul Parry whose average mark is 7.35 from 34 games.
With nine goals to his name Parry is on course to reach double figures for the first time in his Bulls career.
Parry's team-mate Tony James, the winner of the Ray Mercer award last season, is third with 7.33 from 36 games.
James has forged one of the best central defensive pairings in the Conference alongside Andy Tretton who is averaging 6.90 from 31 games.
The duo's scores reflect the Bulls' run of form which has earned them a shot at the Conference play-off places.
Worcester's David Holmes is fourth overall but a string of fine displays by team-mate Adam Webster could see him force his way into the reckoning. He is now averaging 6.88.
Kidderminster Harriers are within reach of the Third Division play-offs and John Melligan tops their list with 7.14 from 21 games. Top scorer Bo Henriksen, who has hit the net 17 times, is fourth with 6.48.
Bromsgrove Rovers continue to be led by Paul Danks with 7.0 from 31 games although their promotion ambitions have been dented by a run of poor results.
For Evesham United young defender Inderpaul Khela is averaging 7.0 from 18 games. Midfield ace Nathan Jukes has dropped to second with 6.94 .
Stourport Swifts' captain Tim Nicholls continues to lead by example on 6.75.
