DEFENDER Dion Scott and midfielder Sean Flynn have been declared fit to take their place in Kidderminster Harriers' line-up for tonight's Nationwide League Division Three clash with Southend United at Aggborough (7.45).
Both have overcome injuries they picked up in Saturday's 3-1 home defeat against Scunthorpe United.
Scott required two stitches in a cut across the bridge of his nose while skipper Flynn has been given the green light to play after having a scan on a painful knee.
Harriers, however, will again be without defender Scott Stamps (groin) and Dean Bennett (torn hamstring) whose fellow midfielder Sam Shilton is set to carry on playing despite being hampered by knee trouble.
Results of a recent scan indicate, however, that he will be forced to undergo a 'clean out' operation in the summer.
Eleventh-in-the-table Harriers go into tonight's match three points away from a play-off spot after tasting defeat in their last two matches.
They are, however, only four points adrift of an automatic promotion place and will be eager to reproduce the kind of form they showed at Southend earlier in the season when goals from Flynn and John Melligan earned them a 2-0 win.
Aggborough boss Ian Britton is urging his players not to waste the impressive displays they have served up on occasions this season by saying: "The worst thing they could do is look back and say they wished they had done things differently. If they are not careful that is what will happen.
"We are down to 13 games left, we are only three points off the play-offs, but as the games go by there is less room for error.
"It's a massive game for us tonight because of what we did or didn't do on Saturday. We cannot afford to drop points at home.
"At the moment anybody in the top half will feel they have got a chance of getting an automatic promotion spot. It's going to come down to who can put a run together."
The Shrimpers are currently four points behind Kidderminster in 12th place.
FORMCAST: Harriers to repeat the 2-0 win they achieved at Roots Hall in September.
