PHIL Mullen will pack his wellies for Evesham United's trip to Cinderford Town tonight (7.45).
The Dr Martens Western Division outfit have a notoriously muddy pitch and Mullen is prepared for the worst as his in-form Robins side seek to win their fourth match in a row.
"Every time we have played there it has been awful and I don't expect it to be any different tonight," said Mullen.
"Our strengths are playing football on good surfaces but we'll have to wait and see just how heavy the pitch is."
Evesham brushed aside Atherstone 3-0 at the weekend are now the league's second highest goalscorers.
One of Saturday's marksmen Wes Joyce, who was also sent off, is unavailable, and Alan Shanahan is set to start up front in his place.
Inderpaul Khela is likely to start in midfield having impressed his manager in that position.
"He's honest and committed and has not let us down in whatever position we've played him," said Mullen.
"I played him in midfield on Saturday and I like him in that role where he's composed, can play a bit and has bags of energy.
"I'm quite pleased with the fact we've tightened up at the back, where our problem was conceding goals, but Cinderford won their last game against Mangotsfield so it's going to be a tough test especially on their pitch."
* Pershore Town are in home quarter-final action against Feckenham in the Worcester Infirmary Cup tonight (7.45).
Manager Nigel Russell will be without striker Simon Judge (thigh) and is waiting on the fitness of midfielders Joe Maidment and Kristian Wood who are both suffering with chest infections.
* Malvern Town's West Midland League clash with Kington tonight has been rearranged as Kington are in League Cup action at Sedgley White Lions (7.45).
* Worcester City's academy team have a PASE semi-final with Lougborough at St Geor-ge's Lane tomorrow (2pm).
