VODKA-lovers are being warned to avoid a certain brand that could make them blind and cause them to have trouble breathing.
Worcestershire's Trading Standards officers and the Food Standards Agency have issued the warning over concerns of dangerous levels of methanol in Imperial Valkonov vodka.
No samples have yet been found in Worcestershire, but bottles have been seized in Manchester and Leicestershire.
These are now believed to be available nationwide, although the origin of the vodka is not yet known.
Kaliningrad
The vodka comes in one litre, clear glass bottles, with gold screw top lids and are marked in small print on the label "distributed for KMG 57, Bodana Khmelnitskogo Str 236039 Kalinginrad Russia for EEC".
If you have a bottle, contact consumer advice at the county's Trading Standards office on 01905 765373.
For more information, or to see a photograph of the bottle, visit the Food Standards Agency website at www.food.gov.uk
