BARRIERS to working for disabled people will be knocked down at a new jobs fair doing the rounds.
Worcestershire County Council is hoping for a big turnout at its Routes to Employment job fair, for people with learning disabilities.
Open today, from 12pm to 5pm, the aim of the fair is to give people with a learning disability more working options.
"People with learning disabilities have identified many barriers to employment and we are hoping to knock down these barriers by raising awareness of our services and the support we offer," said Christopher Shellam, chairman of The Employment Strategy Group.
The group is made up of representatives from all job-related Government agencies, as well as Mencap, social services and numerous colleges.
The job fair was due to take place at the Kingfisher Centre, Redditch.
