SHOPPERS may have to wait another two weeks before an escalator from the Kingfisher Centre down to the bus station is repaired after it was vandalised.
Only one escalator is working after vandals severely damaged the handrail and drive mechanism on the other one.
A part is on order, according to centre manager Phil Berry.
But it is the second time the escalators have been attacked.
