A WOMAN in her 60s had her handbag containing £300 cash snatched while she was walking along a Wythall road.
The mugging happened on Hounsfield Lane near to the junction with Sims Lane at about 11.45am on Tuesday, February 25.
The woman noticed a light blue/silver grey old, tatty car parked partly on the road and pavement and as she walked past, the driver leaned out and snatched the two bags she was carrying.
Her handbag and a carrier bag of shopping were taken.
The thief, who was white, aged between 19 and 20 and wearing a light coloured baseball cap and light coloured top, drove off towards Alcester Road.
There was a passenger in the car fitting a similar description.
