I REFER to your article regarding Cookhill post office, which reads as if I just closed it (Advertiser, February 19).
I would point out the store closed some 10 years ago due to a lack of support from the village.
I gave three months notice to the Post Office, ample time I would have thought to try to sort out other alternatives.
Your report reads as if it was all my fault.
