G BECK writes (Letters, February 26), in respect of Saddam Hussein, that 'there are times when naughty boys need a damn good smack'.

My first thoughts were that he was right - and who better than Councillor Tom Wareing to do the smacking?

Then the mental image of Tom giving Saddam a good old 'trousers down' thrashing floated into my mind and made me come over quite odd.
